Theatre UP on Main Grand Opening

Celebrate a milestone for the performing arts in the White Mountains at the Theatre UP on Main Grand Opening, happening the same day as the Littleton Art Show just steps away on Main Street. After nearly five decades of bringing live theatre to the North Country, Theatre UP now has a permanent home in a newly renovated space at 137 Main Street, with room for rehearsals, youth theatre classes, workshops, a costume shop, and intimate year-round performances.

The free, all-ages celebration runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with the official ribbon cutting ceremony at 12:30 p.m. Stop in for building tours, live music, ticket raffles for upcoming productions, and community activities throughout the day. Founded in 1978 as the Upstage Players of NH, the award-winning nonprofit community theatre continues its mainstage productions at the historic Littleton Opera House, while the new downtown space expands classes and programming for performers, students, and audiences across northern New Hampshire and Vermont.
